Just forty-eight hours after the surgery, sepsis developed, and he passed away in unbearable pain. This tragedy sparked a deep desire in me to dedicate myself to the medical field, driven by a determination to prevent others from experiencing the same pain and suffering.

For the next four years, I struggled with grief and faced a series of unfulfilled business ventures. The pain of losing my father due to what was supposed to be a routine procedure was a wound that wouldn’t heal. Seeking a way to channel my grief, I turned to social media in 2016 and created an Instagram profile, @medical.touch, as a hobby. Initially inspired by surgical animations on YouTube, I began sharing content to better understand the world of medicine. Unbeknownst to me, this simple act would soon evolve into my life’s calling. The page quickly resonated with others, rapidly gaining popularity and attracting over 200,000 followers within the medical community.

A significant turning point in this journey occurred when I met Dr. Patrick Hsu, a renowned plastic surgeon from Houston. Our conversations revealed a shared vision for a platform that could connect people with the best plastic surgeons. Recognizing an opportunity for collaboration, I developed the @plastic.touch profile to promote and showcase top plastic surgeons. The profile's growth was swift, rising from 0 to 100,000 followers. Although Dr. Hsu later left the project to pursue other ventures, I remained committed to the idea, further expanding my influence and reaching nearly 1,000,000 followers in the following years.

In 2020, my personal life was once again shaken. My wife was diagnosed with a tumor in her eye orbit. Desperate for a solution, we sought help from various clinics but were met with distrust and despair as local experts recommended highly radical methods with uncertain outcomes. The global pandemic further complicated our search. Refusing to give up, I leveraged my growing network within the medical community, sending out hundreds of messages to ophthalmologists and oculoplastic surgeons, searching for a safer, less invasive solution. During our search, we tried almost everything, including alternative methods such as acupuncture, specialized diets, and mental exercises. Some techniques, like a specific acupuncture method patented by Danish acupuncturist John Boel, provided temporary relief by reducing eye tension, but ultimately did not offer long-term solutions.

This experience deeply underscored a crucial truth: when faced with life-altering challenges, people are willing to explore every possible option in search of a solution. Our persistence eventually led us to Dr. Marco Sales from Madrid, whom we found through a German clinic. His confidence and expertise during video consultations reassured us, and we decided to place our trust in him. Dr. Sales successfully performed the surgery in just 30 minutes, leaving my wife without a single scar. This experience significantly changed my understanding of surgery and the potential of less invasive methods.

What impressed me most was Dr. Sales' innovative technique. Through a small incision below the eye, he removed a tumor the size of an eyeball—a method completely unknown to local experts. When I showed them the surgery video, their disbelief was palpable. This revelation was the catalyst for the creation of the SENSY.TV platform. During the development of the platform, we faced a significant challenge. Despite high ratings on traditional review sites, one of our clients received extremely negative feedback on our Instagram posts. Although the client insisted on removing these comments, we chose to listen to the patients. Their stories were alarming—severe post-surgery complications and unethical behavior, including a case where a distressed patient was blocked from all communication. This incident exposed a critical flaw in the reliability of existing review systems and became a turning point for us.

In response, we decided to allow patients to share their experiences through verified video and photo formats on SENSY.TV, ensuring authenticity and transparency. This approach eliminates the possibility of fake reviews and reduces the impact of overly negative comments, creating a more accurate and balanced review system.

By integrating these verified reviews, SENSY.TV bridges the gap between medical experts and real patient experiences.
