So what’s going on here? The main blood supply to the breast comes from the superior medial zone. I like to map out the major vessels for a mastopexy or a breast reduction. I believe it ensures a safer approach to these surgeries as I attempt to protect this vital blood supply to the nipple area while I perform the operation.
